What's New in 6.0-TEST-1?
Parsix GNU/Linux 6.0 (code name Trev) brings the latest stable GNOME desktop environment, a brand new kernel, updated installer and systemd based, live boot system. This version has been synchronized with Debian Wheezy repositories as of December 21, 2013. Parsix Trev ships with GNOME 3.10 and LibreOffice productivity suit by default. Highlights: GNOME 3.10.2, X.Org 7.7, GRUB 2, GNU Iceweasel (Firefox) 24.2.0, GParted 0.12.1, Empathy 3.10.1, LibreOffice 3.5.4, VirtualBox 4.2.16 and a brand new kernel based on Linux 3.12.5 with TuxOnIce 3.3, BFS and other extra patches. Live DVD has been compressed using SquashFS and XZ.

New artwork, based on Metal X Shell Theme by justviper, Pull Me Under II HD wallpaper by realityDream, Foresight GTK-2 theme engine by Og Maciel and, Faience icon theme by tiheum. Artwork is a work in progress and not final yet.
Updated Adobe flash player to 11.2.202.335 (for 32 and 6b bit).
Note for nVidia and ATI/AMD Users
You can download and install the latest nVidia (319.76) and ATI/AMD (13.11-beta-v9.4) precompiled drivers and kernel modules from the APT repository. nVidia-legacy 173xx and 96xx series cards are not supported anymore and, users of those cards should switch to Nouveau open source driver. nVidia 304xx series cards also became legacy and precompiled drivers and kernel modules are avaialble to download from our APT repository. UEFI Boot
Please note that Parsix installer does not support UEFI boot yet. If you have a UEFI PC, make sure legacy BIOS boot emulation is enabled.
